Happy New Year, Goodreads Promo Results, and Other News

Happy New Year, everyone!  I hope this post finds you well and in good spirits for the New Year.

Results from the Goodreads promotion were very encouraging.  Beginning late December 27th through December 31st, 433 Goodreads members entered to win a copy of Cry For Tomorrow.  Five copies of the book went out to people located mainly in the Midwest.

So, my congratulations go out to:

Jo Ann Skrbinsek of Elkhart, Indiana
Katie Rosebrugh of Litchfield, Michigan
Katherine Tanner of Deltona, Florida
Vicki Turpitt of Malvern, Arkansas
Betty Raymer of Muskegon, Michigan

I can't think of a better way to start off the New Year!

In other news, Cry For Tomorrow is now available for the Nook on the Barnes & Noble website.  Priced at a meager $2.99 (just like for the Kindle), this is now your chance to either get the book, or justify buying a Nook to read the book.

So far as I can tell, Cry For Tomorrow has no shown up in the Apple iBooks store.  Today was the first day I actually checked on the availability (and doing so required driving to the local Best Buy, finding an iPad, downloading the iBooks app onto the device, and then searching for the title and my name - neither of which showed up in the search results).  Hopefully, this will not take much longer.  Smashwords publishes a turnaround of seven days for the book to appear in Apple's store, but we are well beyond that now.  I'm crossing my fingers.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to ask readers to take five minutes and post a review on Amazon, or wherever else you've bought the book.  This is a great help to me and helps to encourage other readers out there discover a book worthy of their time (hopefully, many of you feel the same way!).

Cheers!
